Reviews are a great way to sell customers on buying a particular item. A customer can be swayed one way or another based on another person’s recommendation of a product. Reviews are a great tool that we encourage our clients to utilize. A way to engage a customer to review is to ensure they have good service and feel taken care of in your store, a simple email to thank a customer for ordering can be a great place to encourage the customer to review the item on your store. Additionally Reviews are a great way to generate traffic to your site and bump up your SEO.
When you do have a lot of customer reviews you may want to edit or delete them. Say if there is a review submitted with profanity or maybe a spelling error you’re going to want to go in and change that.
First things first, to access your customer reviews, log into your admin area and under "Catalog" in the grey bar you will find the "Reviews" option. Click Reviews and you'll be taken to your customer reviews.
From here you will be taken to the Reviews panel. Which looks like this:
To edit a review simply click on Edit. This will take you to a WYSIWYG Editor containing the customer's review. Make your changes, then click preview and then update.
To delete a review simply click delete, and the review will be deleted.
