Use the Logoff link in the top right corner of the admin screen to log out of this area when leaving. Your account will be automatically logged off after a certian time period of non use for security purposes.
Pro tip:
When working in a text field for a long time in which the page does not re-load or refresh (i.e. adding a product, creating a blog post, or editing your page) you can sometimes be forced into a timed security log out and possibly loose your work. Before clicking save or update to your work, select all of it by using the CTRL-A shortcut or highlighting with your mouse. Then use the shortcut CTRL-C to copy it to your clip board. Just in case your work is lost, you can quickly paste it back in place upon re-logging in.
